At some point, all children enter a phase of testing their limits. For some, this means developing a habit of wriggling out of the harness of their child car seat, no matter how well the parent has tightened it.
Keeping escape artists within the belts:
- Keeps shoulder belts close together and removes the child’s space to wind out of the belts.
- Uses the harness tension to stay in position, making it essentially impossible for the child to push down.
Easily attaches to the belts:
- Simply open the clip, slide the belt in, and close it.
- Can be moved up and down while the clip is open to find the right height for the child.
- Fits belts with a standard width of 4 cm and medium or short shoulder pads.
For BeSafe toddler seats, the Belt Guard should be used. BeSafe seats have longer shoulder pads, which would make the Belt Keeper sit too low for smaller children.

All as expected, Stokke means quality. The only small issue is that at the beginning it is not easy to twist it and the navy colour is not perfectly matching with the Air France blue.
