Experience the Versatility of the Tripp Trapp® High Chair

The Stokke® Tripp Trapp® is not just a high chair—it is a revolution in child seating. Designed in 1972 by Norwegian designer Peter Opsvik, this timeless Scandinavian icon transformed nursery design by bringing infants right to the heart of family mealtimes.

Crafted from sustainably harvested European beech and oak, the Tripp Trapp® seamlessly blends sleek aesthetics with developmental functionality, offering an ergonomic seating solution that fits effortlessly into modern dining spaces.

Core Ergonomic & Lifestyle Benefits

Ergonomic 90-Degree Posture: Height- and depth-adjustable seat and footplate panels bring the "floor" up to your child's feet. Securing hips, knees, and ankles at precise 90-degree angles promotes core stability, reduces mealtime restlessness, and supports safe swallowing during weaning.

Table-First Integration: Designed without a compulsory permanent tray barrier, the chair slides neatly under standard dining tables to encourage early social interaction, self-feeding, and language development.

True Structural Longevity: Replaces short-lived plastic high chairs with a solid timber frame tested to support up to 136 kg (300 lbs). It transitions smoothly from an infant seat into a booster, ergonomic study chair, and functional adult dining seat.

Safe and Low-Maintenance Finish: Finished with non-toxic, water-based, child-safe lacquers that wipe clean easily after daily spills while protecting the natural grain of the wood.

• Grows from Birth to Adulthood: Intelligent height- and depth-adjustable seat and footplate design supports up to 136 kg (300 lbs).
• Ergonomic Posture Support: Keeps your child's feet firmly supported at every age, eliminating dangling legs to promote safe swallowing and comfortable mealtimes.
• Family Table Inclusion: Pulls straight up to your dining table without compulsory trays, encouraging early socialisation, self-feeding, and language skills.
• Solid European Timber: Crafted from sustainably sourced solid beech or oak wood and finished with non-toxic, child-safe, water-based lacquers.
• Modular Customisation: Build your ideal setup with optional Stokke® add-ons—from newborn nests and baby rail sets to organic cotton cushions.

• Dimensions: W 46 cm × D 49 cm × H 79 cm (18.1" W × 19.3" D × 31.1" H)
• Chair Weight: 6.47 kg (14.3 lbs)
• Maximum Weight Capacity: 136 kg (300 lbs) — fully tested for adult seating
• Primary Materials: Solid European Beech wood or Oak wood; finished with water-based, non-toxic, child-safe lacquer

Our Customer Care Promise:
Authorised UK Retailer: As an official stockist, our UK team handles all warranty queries directly on your behalf, ensuring a smooth and straightforward process.

Daily Cleaning: Wipe up food spills and liquid messes immediately using a soft, clean cloth dampened with warm water and mild soap. Always dry thoroughly with a microfibre towel—never leave standing water on the wood.

Safe Cleaning Products: Use clean water or dilute dish soap only. Strictly avoid abrasive scouring pads, bleach, ammonia, or chemical polish, as these strip the protective child-safe lacquer finish.

Long-Term Furniture Care: Retighten all frame screws using the provided Allen key 2 to 3 weeks after assembly, and inspect every 3 to 6 months. Position the chair away from direct heat sources and direct sunlight to prevent natural wood discolouration. Routinely inspect floor gliders to ensure smooth movement and protect flooring.
